About Tamworth Equine Veterinary Centre

Tamworth Equine Veterinary Centre is a full service equine hospital located in Tamworth, the heart of the New South Wales north west Pleasure and Performance Horse region. The practice offers Specialist Assisted Reproduction services; Surgery and Intensive Care for horses in our hospital and provides a comprehensive On Farm service and Sports Medicine service to our equine clients in the region.

The team at Tamworth Equine Veterinary Centre is made up of dedicated equine veterinarians, Dr Jane Groenendyk and Dr Phillippe Manchon, supported by Scone Equine Hospital veterinarian Consultants Dr Jen Clulow and Dr Amy Williamson. The veterinarian team are supported by equine nurses Emma Worth and Kara Hamilton, with all administration matters managed by Customer Service Assistants Kellie Sheehan and Gabriella Beaumont.

Our team is dedicated to caring for all horses, from elite athletes to loved companions; Olympians to pleasure horses; kids' ponies to working horses and new-borns to retirees.

Tamworth Equine Veterinary Centre is supported by Scone Equine Group's Equine Sports Medicine department under the direction of Dr Phillippe Manchon who consults on lameness and sports medicine cases at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC).

Our involvement with Scone Equine Group gives us enormous support and allows our veterinarians to call on specialist expertise and use resources from the largest equine veterinary group in the southern hemisphere. 

Our reputation for dedicated expert care is based on understanding our clients and what their horses mean to them. It starts with a personal relationship between our team and our clients and is built on our commitment to research and continuing education for the care of their horse.
